Everyone has the capacity to give back—to give time and energy and creativity, impart wisdom, provide leadership. Sometimes, sharing our appreciation for the nature that surrounds us or the history that informs us can be worth more than gold.

From an early age, my parents and grandparents inspired me to think about the world around me. To give back. Through these pages, I'll share my professional and personal experiences. I hope that others might be inspired with the sense of joy and empowerment that comes from investing in a cause greater than oneself.
